Kirsten has six years of higher education from college
and university. She has a Bachelor of
Science degree in Business Administration (BSBA) within the subjects of Economics, Internationalisation and
Marketing. She also has taken intermediate studies in Political Science.
Ms. Holmen has considerable experience within the
travel industry, having previously been Regional Director of a chain of travel
agencies, Marketing Director at the Norwegian Aviation Centre, and General
Manager of a tour operator, focusing on European vacations. Whilst in this
position, she began developing the concept of tours to northern Scandinavia, now known as Magic North. These companies
are run from her head office in Bodø and since establishment in 2000, they have
held a key position in the tourism industry in the North of Norway. The main
focus of the business is the domestic conference market.

Hans Petter has a technical background and has been with Magic North from the very beginning. He is responsible for quality control of larger events, along with logistics. Hans Petter knows practically every corner of Norway and travels approx. 250 days a year. He possesses unique knowledge and experience and our production team is as effective as it is reliable.
Hans Petter’s specialist field is fishing tourism. Magic North was the initiator and primus motor in the quality improvement program for fishing tourism companies, that resulted in certification of fishing tourism sites along the Norwegian coast, now run by NHO tourism operations.

Kari has a mercantile background and long experience from similar positions at various accountancy companies. Kari has been Finance Manager at Magic North since 2002.
